Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Out-of-the-box thinker.
• Edit raw footage.
• Color correct and enhance footage and images.
• Use editing software to edit and enhance video footage.
• Compile footage, stills, voice over, and soundtrack to create final product.
• Format Final movie into standard or High Definition versions.
• Compress final movie into different formats for DVD, web or other device.
• Create Professional DVD menus and options for final DVD Production.

The Ideal candidate will also possess the following skills:

• Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
• Able to promptly answer support related email, phone calls and other electronic communications.
• Self motivated, detail-oriented and organized.
• Proficient in Internet related applications such as e-mail clients, FTP clients and Web Browsers.
• Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.

Education and/or Experience:

• B.S. degree in New Media & Communications –focus on video production or related education is required.
• 2+ years of experience is strongly preferred.
• Proficient in Final Cut Studio, Premier Pro, Avid.
• Working knowledge of After Effects and Flash software a plus.
• Working knowledge of design software for Mac or PC including Adobe Creative Suite, CS5, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and Microsoft Office.
• Only candidates with a portfolio for review will be considered.
